Station Responds to Paulsboro for House Fires

On Monday just before 1300, Station 6-1 was dispatched into Paulsboro for working house fire on the unit block of E Washington Street. Crews arrived with heavy fire in the rear of the house. Ladder 2116 arrived and stretched a line to the fire, Engine 511 laid into the job and supplied 2116. Squad 613 arrived and assisted with interior operations. Crews remained on scene for over an hour.

At 2130 Crews were dispatched back to the same address for a fire in the other half of the duplex. Ladder 2116 stretched a line to the fire while 613 laid a supply line to 2116.  Crews from 2116 and 613 worked to contain the fire. Crews remained on scene for approx 2 hours.

No injuries were reported with either incident. The investigation to the cause of the fires is being lead by the GCFMO.
