Thorofare Volunteer Fire Company along with Gibbstown VFC spent their Saturday and Sunday together to do some RIC training.
Rapid Intervention Crew (RIC) training is necessary to make a dangerous job a little safer for firefighters. The training taught the members of both companies various techniques that would need to be used to help rescue one of our own, should they require it.
Thank you to the instructors of the Gloucester County Fire Academy for all their time and instruction.
