Around 3:30 in the afternoon station 6-1 and 6-6 were dispatched in the area of Jobstown Rd and the Railroad tracks for a brush fire. 6101 (Chief Golle) arrived and reported a 50×50 area of brush burning. Upon arrival, Brush 612 stretched a 1″ booster line and stopped the fire from spreading into the more heavily wooded area and railroad tracks on the south side of the field. Engine 614 arrived and used another 1″ booster line to keep the fire from spreading on the north side.
