Station 6-1, Station 6-6, Rescue 628, BLS18, LS-1 were dispatched to the Heritage Warehouse located at 376 Jessup Rd (behind the Jessup Rd Heritage’s store) for a Motor Vehicle Crash with entrapment.
BLS 18 arrived confirming a vehicle into a building reporting patient out of the vehicle. Squad 613 was the first due fire resource immediately requesting the construction official due to the structural damage to the building. Deputy Chief 601 arrived establishing Heritage Operations. Rescue 628 and Brush 612 arrived shortly after and assisted Squad 613’s crew with stabilization. Deputy 601 ordered 612 to utilize the winch to secure the vehicle.
Engine 663 arrived and was released by Deputy 601 to cover the town while crews worked to secure the vehicle and building.
Once the vehicle was stabilized Deputy 601 then asked county to special call Washington township’s Rescue 1038 to secure the building from potential collapse by utilizing their paratech struts. All companies worked seamlessly together to mitigate all hazards. Special thanks to the Washington Township Fire Department.
The single patient was assessed by the BLS and transported to a local hospital.
